Water

Water is one of our most valuable resources – without water there is no life.

Since 1967 MEGGLE has been operating a well system nearby the company site in Wasserburg am Inn. Drinking water is transported from three fountains with a depth between 27 and 32 meters via two underground pipes. The water is used for production functions, for cooling and cleaning. As a public water supplier we bear the responsibility for about 200 households in our neighbourhood. In collaboration with relevant authorities we are monitoring the water quality – always without any objections.

Sustainability and the environment have a great importance within the MEGGLE Group. Therefore, at the production site a new working group has been established. Members from the department Technology, Maintenance, Environment Management and Business Development & Research ensure a responsible usage of our drinking water and the ongoing saving of this resource.
