“Health is the greatest wealth” – we endorse this saying unreservedly. To maintain and promote our employees’ health we attach great emphasis on proactive, efficient and sustainable measures. These include regular monitoring with regard to ergonomics at the workplace, one-to-one consultations with our company doctor, a mobile massage service, back training courses, plus a lot more, which is why we won the “AOK-BGF Award” for exemplary commitment to corporate preventive health measures and health promotion in 2010. Another matter of great importance to us is the balancing of work and family life. That is why, besides various innovative models of working time and part-time work, we offer our employees help in looking for the right childcare, for instance.

Job security makes for happy and motivated employees. That is why in the MEGGLE Group companies we continually minimise occupational hazards. The Safety at Work Specialist, in conjunction with the Safety Officers on the spot and the departments, ensures that measures to prevent accidents and to reduce work-related health hazards are put into practice. Safety-at-work teams monitor health & safety on the spot by means of regular inspections. If accidents should happen, though, they are analysed in close contact with the state and trade association institutions or their country-specific counterparts, and improvement schemes and protective measures are developed. To be on the safe side in future, too, we continually draw up risk assessments for every job and constantly provide further training for managerial staff and employees. For instance, 110 first-aiders have been trained at our Wasserburg site in the last few years. The integrated management system for the safety and health protection of our employees is certified according to DIN ISO 45001.
