National player Lina Magull in the MEGGLE Talk

A special highlight for Team MEGGLE: Employees ask questions, national soccer player Lina Magull answers. One day before the German national soccer team's (Die Mannschaft) opening match at the European Championship, she provided insights into professional soccer and talked about personal experiences in her career.

Lina Magull is an international soccer player, captain of FC Bayern Munich and brand ambassador for B42. With this training app, Team MEGGLE has been keeping fit since April and is going into the summer well prepared - just in time for the EUROS. In addition to sports sessions, which the employees carry out individually at home, digital workshops and discussion rounds are also on the agenda.

Lina Magull reported personally on her team's successful end to the season. She won the German championship with FC Bayern Munich on the last match day, in early June 2021. Due to injury, she was unable to take part and yet - or perhaps because of it - "has never been so excited before and during a match." Lina Magull, who played 48 times for Germany, also explained why setbacks, such as being knocked out of the German Cup or Champions League semifinals, didn't set the team back: "Of course it was disappointing. But we are so strong in character individually and as a team we still had our common goal in mind, the German championship."

The questions submitted to the athlete by Maximilian Böning, Corporate Communications Manager at MEGGLE, focused not only on the European Football Championship. Lina Magull vividly explained how a pre-season team-building weekend in Austria laid the foundations ahead of the FC Bayern Women’s season, how travel affects regeneration and what is probably the biggest difference between men's and women's soccer.

And the supposedly most important question also had to be answered: How far will Jogi Löw's team get this year. "I'm optimistic, the boys will make it to the final," Lina Magull said clearly. MEGGLE would like to thank Lina Magull for the interesting insights into professional soccer and its cooperation partner B42 for the entire workshop series.
