As of 1st July 2020 Heiko Heinrich (46) was appointed Managing Director of M-Back GmbH at the Gebesee site. In collaboration with MEGGLE-CEO Matthias Oettel he is from now on responsible for this subsidiary specialized in baked goods.

With Heiko Heinrich, another industry expert strengthens the management team. He worked for Ospelt food GmbH from 2008 onwards. As Managing Director, Heiko Heinrich was responsible for purchasing and sales, most recently as Divisional Managing Director Baked Goods. Previous stations of the graduate business economist (BA) were the Plus Warenhandelsgesellschaft and Dr. Oetker's Foodservice.

We are delighted that he will lead our bakery in Gebesee into the future," explains Matthias Oettel, CEO of MEGGLE GmbH & Co. KG, who, together with Heiko Heinrich, forms M-Back’s management.

At the end of March 2020, the MEGGLE Group took over all shares in the Gebesee-based bakery specialist. Prior to this, the long-established company, which produces filled, chilled baguettes at the Gebesee location, held a 66.7 per cent stake in M-Back GmbH.
