The acquisition of Stegmann by MEGGLE has been completed. Ferenc Tahy (52) will take over the position of Managing Director of Stegmann Emmentaler Käsereien GmbH on May 11, 2021. Together with MEGGLE CEO Matthias Oettel, he will be responsible for the cheese dairy.

Ferenc Tahy, another industry expert, joins the management team. He has extensive specialist knowledge and many years of management experience. Previously, the business graduate was CFO and commercial manager at Andechser Molkerei Scheitz GmbH, as well as several years in leading sales positions at Lactalis Deutschland GmbH and Käserei Champignon.

"Ferenc Tahy is a holistically thinking and exemplary acting executive with high competence in the cheese product segment. We are delighted that he will lead our cheese dairy in Kempten and Altusried into the future," explains Matthias Oettel, CEO of the MEGGLE Group, who together with Ferenc Tahy forms the management of the cheese division.

The Stegmann cheese dairy most recently achieved a turnover of around 120 million euros. It currently employs 200 people at its sites Kempten and Altusried.
