2,000 euros for a good purpose
Do something good while eating ice cream. This was possible at the beginning of September at MEGGLE GmbH & Co. KG. Prospective milk technologists made ice cream by themselves, gave it to the employees as a gift and collected donations for the Multigenerational House in Wasserburg. 23 kilograms were consumed and 2,000 euros were collected.
Even though ice cream preparation is not a classic part of the training for milk technologists, the MEGGLE apprentices have proven their skills in this field: They produced seven different varieties in the company's own "ice cream factory". The Young Employees Representation distributed the ice cream to the staff free of charge. They had the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to the Multigenerational House.
The employees donated 430 euros. The company's works council rounded up to 1,000 euros. In addition, the MEGGLE Management Board doubled this amount. A total of 2,000 euros was donated to the Multigenerational House in Burgau, a district of Wasserburg. The campaign was organized by the Young Employees Representation and the prospective milk technologists of MEGGLE.
