Flexible work
To enable you to reconcile your personal requirements with your career in the best possible way, MEGGLE operates flexitime and numerous innovative working time and part-time models. These vary depending on the area of activity and place of work. In addition, we offer elderly employees a model for a flexible and financially secure transition from working life to old-age pension.

“Health is the ultimate asset” – at MEGGLE, too. Health and safety at work are our top priority. That is why at MEGGLE we regularly monitor safety at work and occupational ergonomics. In addition, we offer you individual consultations with our company doctor, a mobile massage service, back exercise courses and much more, which is why, in 2010, we received the “AOK-BGF Award” for exemplary commitment to company healthcare prevention and health promotion.

Pay and benefits
At MEGGLE we believe in performance-related pay at market rates. Out of a sense of social responsibility, we also offer our employees help and assistance from our provident fund in special circumstances. On top of that, MEGGLE offers a collectively agreed pension scheme.

Job and family life
Anyone who has children knows that organisation is everything. It is often expensive, though, to find the right solutions. Combinations of different types of care are often necessary as well, for every family is different: young parents need support after parental leave to enable them to plan their return to work. A person with a nursery place may need someone to pick the child up and care for it once a week. With schoolchildren, it is a question of coping in the holidays. Parents new to a region are not yet aware of the local facilities. With these and all other childcare issues you can count on our PartnerfamPlus. We are the first medium-sized company to pioneer such a venture, but we do not focus solely on the young family. When the children have left home, another issue becomes increasingly important: supporting and caring for relatives. Here, too, our aim is to come up with a solution for reconciling professional commitment with care.

It is our employees’ commitment and competence that make MEGGLE so successful. That is why it is our aim to maintain and further develop your professional and interdisciplinary qualifications for current and future tasks. This we base on regular discussions. Firstly, to recognise talents; secondly, to identify individual options for further development. These range from language or IT courses, through external seminars, to qualifications for duties with greater responsibility, or for further development in the same field of work, right through to an MBA course in collaboration with Rosenheim University.

MEGGLE’s head office is in Wasserburg am Inn near Munich – in the heart of Upper Bavaria. It is also not far from neighbouring Austria or Italy. When visitors and inhabitants of Wasserburg are asked what they value about this town, they rhapsodise: Southern European, cosmopolitan, very cultured, multicultural, sporty, historic, natural, fun-loving, perfectly situated. Even the very first contact with Wasserburg is impressive. The island geography and topographical demarcation from the river Inn and the steep slope make it seem unlike anywhere else. The old part of town pulses with life. The young atmosphere of Wasserburg (population 13,000) is provided by the schoolchildren and students who attend the 16 schools in the town, from the special school to the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration.

Sport and leisure
Work where others go on holiday: the leisure facilities and amenities for young and old around MEGGLE’s HQ are multifaceted. With Munich, Rosenheim, Chiemsee [Lake Chiem] and the Alps on the doorstep, there are numerous enticing outdoor activities besides extensive shopping trips: hiking and mountain bike tours, climbing gardens, riding, skiing, sailing, paragliding and golfing. The sports clubs in the surrounding municipalities also have excellent facilities for children and young people to take an active part in so many sports.

Wasserburg is the lively economic and cultural centre of the region offering every culture vulture a large gamut of different attractions. Exhibitions and vernissages, concerts, theatre and opera – there’s something for everyone.

Anyone wanting some time out for a few hours away from the work routine has everything they want in and around Wasserburg. Whether it’s a walk in the countryside or the extensive health and fitness facilities in the surrounding municipalities, ranging from bathing lakes and spas to yoga and Ayurveda treatments.

MEGGLE in Wasserburg am Inn is easy to reach by car, bus or rail. For those with an urge to travel afar, Munich International Airport is 45 minutes away.

With MEGGLE you can broaden your horizons, gain experience, and get to know other cultures by working at one of the numerous MEGGLE Group sites abroad. Setting up a new factory, for instance, or taking on a managerial role at an existing site. Equally, we offer skilled workers from our sites in Eastern Europe the opportunity to gain vocational qualifications in Germany.
